Greediness and humanity

When we come across a hundred rupees note, what will we do. We may look around whose money is this (this is rare case)? No doubt we look around not for the owner of the note but rather any one is observing or else we shall put in the pocket and walk as if we are not aware of the note. It is money, and the owner is the person who possesses it. We simply escape from the spot. We shall take another situation. A man is lying on the road (not a drunkard) say with bleeding asking for a help from any one. What do we do usually? Do we go near him and provide him the desired help? We just look at the person and escape from the spot. I don't say none of use go and help. Some people do help the needy. Generally, people do not do this. Just imagine the earlier situation what was cited to you that a hundred rupee note lying on the road, when we pocket it and run away from the spot!!!!!! When we are not intending to help the needy person on the road, We do not have any right to pocket the other's money also. Please remember the almighty will be watching our actions.I will put it the other way. If you are lying on the road asking for a help and if people run away from you how do you feel?????!!!

Knowledge and Ignorance

As all of us know, knowledge is like an ocean. Why do we need to know? To be aware of the things which we do not know or in case if we know to some extent acquire the full knowledge. Getting knowledge really brings some happiness. One may question that I know everything and I need not get the preaching from you, then we will come to know that he doesn't know himself. This is because there is no person on the earth who knows every thing except the almighty. Suppose a person closes his eyes and says there is no sun, no world and no truth, this is sheer ignorance and not the right knowledge. Just because he has closed his eyes, could there be no sun/moon? could there be no world? could there be no truth? Certainly not and everything do exist and only thing is that the other person has closed his eyes and things are not visible to him which is also termed as ignorance. When once he opens his eyes he comes in touch with all these and says that sun is glowing, World is changing and Truth always wins.  In this context, a person who has the knowledge of a snake only can feel the presence of a snake when he look at rope at a distance.In case if he is not at all aware of the snake or rope , he will not be horrified when he come across a rope as snake. Knowledge makes us feel comfortable, feel confident and we can convince others by means of sharing knowledge with others.
Essence: Knowledge brings happiness and therefore, acquire the knowledge.
              Ignorance keeps us in darkness and therefore come out of darkness.

Rich Vs Peace

Once there was a rich person. He was very arrogant as he was rich. I will pay for. He used to lead the living like this. Servants used to salute him, the people in the same vicinity used to give him the way whenever his car was passed by. This increased the ego of this rich. Daily he used to think how soon he became rich and brooding over his past. One day, thieves looted the  neighbor's house. This rich man was indeed very happy because it was neighbor's and not his.In the immediate moment he started thinking he appointed gunmen and security guards around the house. He went to bed, closed the eyes. One after the other various thoughts came to his mind and he could not sleep. He rushed to see the treasury it was safe. Again started sleeping but suspected the people whom he entrusted the task of security. He saw that one security person was sleeping and again his worries increased. He could not sleep peacefully. Next day he made an announcement that those who would bring him peace would be suitably rewarded. One day a saint came and assured that he would give peace otherwise he  is ready for any punishment given by the rich person. As per that saint asked to transfer all  his wealth in the name of the saint. Rich asked why do you want this? Is this the reason that you promised me that you will give peace. Then saint told you have promised me give ownership and I will take every thing tomorrow. Rich did it. He came to his bed but did not sleep on the bed as he was no more owner of these wealth. Came outside and slept under a tree. Next day, when saint asked to give possession the Rich replied that he had transferred all the wealth previous day only. Then saint asked how do you feel and got the sleep? Rich replied , I slept very nicely under the tree. Then the saint told I do not want your wealth. Peace is the state of mind. You cannot buy peace by selling all your wealth. You should be simple and leave your egoism to be more happier.Then the Rich realized and thanked the saint and led a very happy and peaceful life.

AggressiveVsGrateful

One fine day one saint was performing some meditation in the midst of the forest. A rat chased by the cat came to this saint and asked for sheltering it. The Saint by means of uttering few chants, poured some sprinkles of water on the rat which immediately became the cat. The cat used to take the milk offered by the saint every day  and was leading the life peacefully. It was roaming in and around the ashram of the saint. In the meanwhile a Dog chased the cat which once again approached the saint to protect it from the dog. The saint once again chanted mantras and sprinkled on this cat which amazingly became a dog. This dog was wandering in the forest and kept on running when attacked by a Lion. This time the saint thought and converted it into a Sharabh (biggest animal more powerful than the lion or tiger). One day this sharabh was contemplating on the power of the saint and decided to eat him (kill him). Fortunately the saint realized this and converted that into the small rat as it was earlier. The lesson for us: If any one helps us in time we shall be grateful to him and we should not make the person a victim for helping us. One more lesson we can draw is HELP ONLY THE DESERVED.

Why do we need to do the Karma

Karma the coremost thing what do we do in our daily life. Lord Krishna in Bhagvadgita mentions you do the work and I will take care of rewards or punishments based on your style and mode of work. The work assigned to the person could be performed in different ways. Let us take an example: The father asks the son to bring the fruits from the market by giving him Rs.100. If the son is sincere he goes to market picks up some fruits and gets to his father. The son can also get the fruit by not purchasing it but by stealing it by not being caught. The father may not know about this but later on he will be punished as he continues the same tendency and punished. Therefore, how best we do the Karma is important. It is not for the sake of doing.
